Fixed Term - Post Production Voice Over Editor
Due to ongoing growth, PitStop Productions is seeking to recruit a talented Post Production Voice Over Editor on a Fixed Term basis, to support the Post Production team in the Voiceover Department based in Barnsley, South Yorkshire. The role will consist of the successful candidate working within the post-production team, editing dialogue through our pipeline.
You will be working within PitStop’s team of passionate creatives based in South Yorkshire and London, across the Voice, Sound Design, Music and Visual departments who are working on a huge range of video game titles from Indie to AAA, to assist in the delivery of amazing audio content to our worldwide clients across the video games industry. We’re looking for individuals who would thrive in this creative environment and contribute to the team.
This exciting opportunity would suit someone who is passionate about working in the videogames industry, self motivated, highly organised, and has an excellent working use of spreadsheets.

Responsibilities:
Post-Production:
Ensure a high level of quality for all stages of the edit pipeline, or be working towards (Top and tail/Mastering/Spectral cleanup).
Complete quality control checks for edit work across all projects as required, or be working towards (FNQC/FQC).
Assist with VO home & external recording studios reviews.
Test new workflows, software and plugins.
Push the boundaries of what post production can offer to our clients.
Research new and alternative methods and pipelines for Post Production.
Required experience and skills:
Essential
Ability to organise and prioritise workloads.
Experience of voice recording, Post-Production and editing.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Exceptional file management skills.
Highly proficient with spreadsheet programs, specifically Excel and Google Sheets.
Competent with Digital Audio Workstations such as Reaper and Adobe Audition.
Ability to process audio using RX10.
Desirable
Proficient in Quality Assurance of delivery assets.
Has an understanding of Audio plug-ins.
Ability to use and create bespoke spreadsheet formulas.
Experience using Timify or other industry specific booking systems.

Please note that since this is a fixed term contract, meaning listed benefits, pay and holidays will be calculated on a pro rata basis.
Salary: £26,300
Contract Length: 2 Months @ 1 day per week, with the possibility of additional days/hours (workload dependent).
Hours: 7.5 hours per week to be worked on one weekday.
